Post-Operative Rehab in Tampa, FL
Get back to sleeping, driving, and running after surgery.
We can usually start in the first days after you are home and cleared. We use your surgeon's plan and a phased approach. Same Doctor of Physical Therapy. Full hour. Every visit.
The Approach
How we approach post-op rehab
Recovery is a phased build. We meet you where you can move safely.
Surgery is the start of healing. Not the end. The hard work comes in the weeks after.
We bring rehab to you. Each visit is a full hour, one on one with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy. We work from your surgeon’s plan. Early work happens wherever you can move safely. As you progress, we move to your building’s amenity gym, your own gym, or outdoor strength work.
Mobile post op physical therapy Tampa
We have phased plans for the most common surgeries:
- Knee replacement: early motion, less swelling, quad work, and progressive stair and loaded work.
- Hip replacement: hip rules, single leg balance, getting back to driving, and getting back to your life.
- Rotator cuff repair: phased work from passive to active to loaded. Plus shoulder blade control and overhead motion.
- ACL repair: quad work, normal gait, hop and jump work, and tests to get back to sport.
Is your surgery not on this list? We still use your surgeon’s plan. These are starting points. Your plan is built around your surgery notes and your goals.

A different way to handle this
What concierge changes about the standard outpatient experience.
The typical clinic
-
You ride to a clinic with fresh stitches and a walker.
-
You step on a fake wood block at a clinic that looks nothing like real life.
-
You hit a visit cap with weeks of healing still left.
The TrueForm way
-
We can start in the first days after you are home and cleared to begin.
-
You progress from gentle early work to real training at your building’s gym, your own gym, or a park.
-
You stay in care until you hit your own goals.

We come to you, then your gym
No car ride to the clinic. No parking on crutches. We come to you for the early phase, then transition to your building’s amenity gym or your gym as you progress.
Start in the first days home
We can usually begin in the first days after you are home and cleared. Early motion and less swelling help your knee or hip heal.
We follow your surgeon's plan, step by step
We have phased programs for knee, hip, ACL, and rotator cuff. We work from your surgery notes and your surgeon's timeline.
Same Doctor of Physical Therapy from start to finish
Your body gets stronger in small steps. One Doctor of Physical Therapy tracks all of them. That is what makes a 12 week plan work.
We finish when you hit your goals
We wrap up when you can climb your stairs, walk Bayshore, lift your kids, or get back to the gym. Not when an insurer says stop.
Cash pay, no surprises
A full hour of one on one care. Cash pay, paid at the time of service, with your rate confirmed before you book and no insurance billing in the middle.
The arc of your care

First Visit
We read your surgery notes. We check how far you can move and how much weight you can put down. We give you a written plan. We tell you the price up front. You can start that day.

Phased Surgery Recovery

Back to Life
We wrap up around what matters to you. Walking Bayshore. Back to the gym. Lifting kids. Sleeping well. Back to work or sport.
Post-Op Rehab. What people ask.
When should I start physical therapy after surgery?
Most surgeons say to start 1 to 7 days after surgery. It depends on the surgery. Once you are home and cleared, we can usually begin in those first days, often before you can drive. Early starts help you move better and keep swelling down.
What if I cannot leave the house right after surgery?
For very early post op cases, Alisha will come to you for the first one or two visits while you are non weight bearing, in a brace, or not yet cleared to drive. As soon as you are mobile, we transition to your building’s amenity gym or your own gym so you train in a real environment.
Do I need a referral for physical therapy in Florida?
No. Florida lets you see a Doctor of Physical Therapy without a referral. We can treat you for up to 30 days. After 30 days you need a referral to keep going.
How much does concierge post op rehab Tampa cost without insurance?
TrueForm is cash pay only, paid at the time of service. Every visit is a full hour, one on one, and Alisha confirms your rate on a quick call before you book.
How soon can I get on the schedule after I go home?
We keep a flexible schedule. Call us and we will find a time that fits, often within a day or two.
What happens at the first visit?
A full hour. We read your surgery notes. We check your motion and pain. We check what weight you can put down. We do hands on work that same visit. We leave with a written plan and clear price.
